The definition of microfibers is different, also known as microfibers, fine fibers, very fine fibers, the English name microfiber. Generally, a fiber having a fineness of 0.3 deniers (5 micrometers or less) is referred to as an ultrafine fiber. Ultrafine filaments of 0.00009 deniers have been produced abroad. If such a filament is pulled from the earth to the moon, its weight will not exceed 5 grams. China has been able to produce 0.13-0.3 denier ultrafine fibers. The composition of the microfiber mainly consists of two kinds of polyester and nylon polyimide (domestic is generally 80% polyester 80%, and polyester 100% (poor water absorption, poor hand feeling)).
- Performance characteristics:
The fiber fineness of 0.4 μm in diameter is only 1/10 of that of silk. The warp-knitted terry cloth made of imported looms has a uniform, compact, soft and high-elastic fine pile, which has strong decontamination and water absorption properties. There is no slight damage to the surface to be wiped, no cilia falling off from cotton fabrics; easy to wash and durable.
Compared with traditional cotton towels, microfiber towels mainly have six characteristics:
- High water absorption
The ultra-fine fiber uses the orange-petal technology to divide the filament into eight lobes so that the surface area of the fiber is increased, the pores in the fabric are increased, and the water absorbing effect is enhanced by the capillary wicking effect. Rapid water absorption and rapid drying become its remarkable characteristics.
- Strong decontamination
The fineness of microfibers with a diameter of 0.4μm is only 1/10 of that of silk. Its special cross section can capture dust particles as small as a few microns, and the effect of decontamination and degreasing is very obvious.
- No hair removal
High-strength synthetic fiber filaments, not easy to break, at the same time using fine weaving method, no spinning, no stripping, the fiber is not easy to fall off the towel surface. It is used to make wipes and wipes. It is especially suitable for wiping bright paint surfaces, plating surfaces, glass, instruments, and LCD screens. It can clean the glass during the process of car filming, which can achieve a very ideal film effect.
- Long life
Because the microfiber has high strength and toughness, its service life is more than 4 times that of ordinary towels. It is still invariable after repeated washing. At the same time, polymer fiber does not produce protein like cotton fiber. Hydrolysis, even if it is not dried after use, will not be moldy, rot, and has a long life.
- Easy to clean
When using ordinary towels, especially natural fiber towels, the dust, grease, dirt, etc. on the surface of the object will be directly absorbed into the fiber. After use, it will remain in the fiber and will not be easily removed. Even after a long time, Will become hard and lose flexibility, affecting the use. The microfiber towel absorbs the dirt between the fibers (instead of the inside of the fiber), and the fiber has a high fiber density and a high density, so the adsorption capacity is strong, and it is only necessary to clean with water or a little detergent after use.
- It does not fade
The dyeing process uses dyes such as TF-215 for microfiber materials, and its retarding, transferability, high-temperature dispersibility, and decolorization indexes all meet the strict standards of exporting international markets, especially its non-fading. The advantage is that it does not cause any trouble with decolorization pollution when cleaning the surface of the article.
The way of working:
Microfibers can absorb dust, particles, and liquids that are 7 times their own weight. Each filament has only 1/200 of the hair. This is why microfibers have superior cleaning power. The gap between the filaments can absorb dust, oil, and dirt until it is washed away with water or soap or detergent.
These voids also absorb a large amount of water, so the ultrafine fibers have a strong water absorption. Moreover, since it is only stored in the void, it can be quickly dried, so that the growth of bacteria can be effectively prevented.
Ordinary fabric: only backlog and push dirt. There will be residues left on the surface being cleaned. Because there is no gap to hold the dirt, the surface of the rag will be dirty and difficult to clean.
Microfiber fabric: Countless tiny spatulas can shovel and store dirt until it is washed away. The end result is a clean, smooth surface. Wet use can make dirt and oil emulsified, and microfiber can be wiped off more easily. High water absorption makes it very fast to clean spilled liquid.
